Alternate Download Site

  • An alternate HTTPS-based download site is being developed to provide users with a more accessible alternative to Aspera. The new platform allows users to browse files without login and requires authentication only when obtaining secure download URLs through the GA4GH DRS API using the S3 access method.

  • CloudFront Signed URLs: Implemented to enable secure, temporary (7-day) access with edge caching, improving download speeds. Multi-file Cart Support: Users can select multiple files for download; a Lambda function dynamically creates a ZIP archive, preserving the directory structure, and returns a CloudFront-signed link for retrieval.

  • Manifest Downloads: Added support for downloading the file manifest from the cart to enhance reproducibility and data management.

  • Beta Release of HTTPS Download Option: The beta rollout will support users experiencing connectivity issues.

AI-Ready Datasets Update

ImmPort’s resource page for NAIRR AI-Ready Datasets has been updated.

The page now features a third dataset called the Immune Signatures Data Resource (ISDR). The ISDR is a compendium of standardized systems vaccinology datasets that includes transcriptional profiles and antibody response measurements, with several thousand samples over various time points, profiling the response to 24 different vaccines (6 vaccine types) that offer protection against 13 different pathogens. Similar to our previous two datasets, this new dataset includes its own Digital Object Identifier (DOI), a completed AI-Readiness Assessment, and a link to view the original ImmPort studies in the Cohort Discovery Tool.
