November 2025 - Topic: ImmuneSpace: Building a community-specific resource leveraging ImmPort
The recording of the webinar is now available
- Access the webinar recording here.
This presentation will go over how ImmuneSpace is built, showcasing the infrastructure and data standards that can be used to help create similar resources for the scientific community. To achieve the dual goals of having a persistent home for data storage along with customized access to the data in a community-specific fashion, the HIPC consortium decided to use ImmPort as the primary repository to provide a long-term term sustainable archive for research and clinical data. The data from ImmPort is validated, curated, and expanded in ImmuneSpace, which also provides community-specific query and reporting functionality.
Presenters: Bjoern Peters (Ph.D, co-PI), Jason Greenbaum (Ph.D, Bioinformatics Core Director), Brendan Ha (B.S., Bioinformatics Application Engineer), Anaïs Gambiez (M.S., Full-Stack Engineer), James Overton (Ph.D., Data Integration Specialist), Kerstin Westendorf (Ph.D., Data Submission Specialist), Randi Vita (M.D. Lead Ontology and Quality Manager), Mari Kojima (M.A., Senior Project Manager).
Moderator: Sanchita Bhattacharya, Outreach Program Lead, ImmPort

May 2025 - Topic: AutoMedCalc: A Multi-Agent AI System for Biomarker and Risk Score Generation from Transplant Studies
The recording of the webinar is now available
- Access the webinar recording here.
This presentation introduces Auto-MedCalc, and AI-powered, multi-agent framework designed to automate biomarker discovery and clinical risk score generation. Built using large language models and computational tools, Auto-MedCalc processes multi-modal, multi-source data from open-access transplantation studies in the ImmPort repository. This talk will highlight the system's architecture, key findings, and its implications for advancing clinical research. Presented by David Ding, Postdoctoral Fellow, Butte Lab, UCSF and the ImmPort Team
